Points to consider when hiring out your building for filming:

- Can be used to enhance local engagement
- Can be used to create revenue for longer or short term without holding up any future plans you have for the property
- Can help offset Business rates or help trigger business rates holiday of 3 to 6 months depending on the property
- Can mitigate on going costs (security, utilities, insurance, etc) whilst the building sits vacant helping make the building cost neutral
- In fact, filming can generate potential revenues of hundreds of thousands of pounds
- Can help secure buildings from vandalism
- Filming can develop positive relations with councils due to bringing film spend to local areas or boroughs. Positive relations can help longer term building plans
- Revenues can also come from peripheral activities like storage for props and costumes, set construction, workspaces, temporary production office space, etc
- Ensure that safety is of top importance. Each production will carry out method statements and Risk assessments as standard
- We identify each productions public liability insurance to a minimum of £10million
- We will tailor contracts to encompass any site specific details
- We have spent a long time partnering with property owners to seamlessly implement additional revenue without taking you off course or taking up your time

The process:
When a potential production expresses interest in your location, a member of our team will reach out to you to discuss your property availability. We will confirm dates and provide details about the shoot, including the compensation, crew size, and any specific requirements.

If your property makes it to the shortlist, we will contact you to arrange a visit (known as a recce) by a member of the production team. For most TV and film shoots, additional recce visits, such as a Director recce and Technical recce, may be necessary before confirming the shoot.
Once confirmed we will draw up a contract that outlines all the details, so everybody knows and agrees the exact plan before the shoot. We will request payment from the production in advance and obtain a deposit to cover any additional costs.
